                                 Refuge

I invoke the presence of the lineage of teachers.
I invoke the presence of the Enlightened Ones.
I invoke the presence of their teachings.
I invoke the presence of the community of practitioners.

I am inspired by the lineage of teachers.
I am inspired by the Enlightened Ones.
I am inspired by their teachings.
I am inspired by the community of practitioners.

My path is supported by the lineage of teachers.
My path is supported by the Enlightened Ones.
My path is supported by their teachings.
My path is supported by the community of pratcitioners.

                            Bodhiccitta

Until the heart of enlightenment is reached, I go for refuge to the three jewels.
I will attain enlightenment for the sake of all beings.

End of Shalom Partner Dance
Shalom, Shlama, Salaam (Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabic) all share the same root, S L M.
The words formed have been a greeting in the Middle East for thousands of years.
The words mean: peace, health, safety, security.

These root letters also lie within the words Islam and Muslim.
Islam
meaning "to be in peace, to be secure, to be integral."
Muslim meaning "one who is wholly surrendered to the will, law, and guidance of Godde,
Thus, in peace in oneself, with all of creation, and with the creator."

Om Lo Kaha Dance
